Jenai Akina is passionate about bringing positive change and growth to organizations.
Jenai began her career as a Human Capital Management Software Consultant at Mercer and continued her work as an independent consultant working with companies across the world. She has subject matter specialization in Workday focusing on compensation, reporting, and analytics, with broader exposure to payroll, benefits, talent, and recruiting. Jenai's work has spanned over 50 client projects, where she has led software implementations and HR strategy design optimizations.
At Nua Group, Jenai focuses on HR Operational Effectiveness as it relates to developing strong process, platform and people strategies. Her work has spanned business process optimizations (such as identifying gaps, risks, inefficiencies), building out key business requirements for HRIS expansions, and supporting clients as they launch and scale their HR Operations.
Jenai completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University receiving honors for studies in Government and a language citation in Mandarin. In her downtime, Jenai enjoys taking dance and fitness classes and finding great noodle spots around San Francisco.
