Before consulting, he held roles at Uber, Unilever, and Microsoft, where he supported large, complex workforces across benefits administration, compliance, and HR process improvement.
 

At Nua Group, Luis works directly with clients to build people programs that are competitive, compliant, and built to scale. His focus spans total rewards design, benefits optimization, HRIS implementation, and the operational infrastructure that keeps HR running smoothly, especially as organizations grow or go through change.

Luis has a knack for making complex systems make sense. Whether he's untangling a benefits structure or rebuilding an HR process from scratch, he brings a practical, employee-first mindset that clients find easy to work with. He's equally comfortable in the weeds of compliance details and at the table for strategic workforce conversations.

Originally from Mexico City and now based in San Francisco, Luis spends his weekends hitting local breweries, exploring new restaurants around the Bay Area, and planning his next trip. He also goes salsa dancing whenever he gets the chance.
