Virginia has 30 years of experience working in human resources, most recently as a principal and senior HR consultant with Mercer. She has helped young companies design and install their first policies and pay programs, while facilitating teams in large companies as they redesign jobs, pay systems, and performance standards after a reorganization.

Virginia taught supervisory skills classes at Walla Walla Community College and introduced Walla Walla University students to HR management by combining classroom lectures with hands-on experiences with local business. She provided HR consulting services to small businesses in in southeastern Washington and wrote the Fair Exchange column for the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin.
Virginia graduated from Golden Gate University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
